Cosmic Crisp Dark 'n Stormy

With the balanced sweet-tart flavor of Cosmic Crisp, there's little left to ask from this drink. This recipe brings a unique twist to a classic cocktail. Enjoy this quick, great-tasting, fancy-looking cocktail with a special someone.

Ingredients:

• 2 cups of apple cider
• 2 Cosmic Crisp® Apples, diced
• 2 cinnamon sticks + extra for garnish
• 1 sprig rosemary + extra for garnish
• 2 ounces of dark rum
• Ginger beer
• Fresh squeezed lemon juice

Directions:

1. Heat the apple cider, diced Cosmic Crisp apples, cinnamon sticks, and rosemary in a pot.
2. Simmer until the apples are tender.
3. Strain the mixture and refrigerate.
4. Add crushed ice to two glasses.
5. Add 1 ounce of rum to each glass.
6. Fill up half of the glass with the apple reduction.
7. Top the glass off with ginger beer and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
8. Stir until combined.
9. Garnish with extra rosemary, cinnamon sticks, and apples.
10. Serve immediately and enjoy.
