Skill level: Easy
This Irish apple cake is a classic, rustic dessert made with fresh apples, warm spices, and a soft, dense crumb. As it bakes, the apples soften into the batter, creating a moist texture with a lightly crisp cinnamon sugar topping. Simple to prepare and baked in one pan, this recipe reflects a traditional style of apple cake that works well for dessert, snacking, or serving with coffee.
