Granny Smith Matcha Gin Sour

St. Patrick’s Day cocktail inspiration 🍀 A vibrant green apple gin sour with a silky foam top. The perfect festive drink for your St. Paddy’s party or happy hour at home.

Ingredients 

Fresh Granny Smith Juice

  • 2 large Granny Smith apples
  • Juice of 3 freshly squeezed lemons
  • ½ simple syrup

Cocktail 

  • 2 ounces of gin
  • 1 ounce Granny Smith juice
  • ½ ounce simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon matcha, dissolved in 1 ounce of hot water
  • 1 egg white

Directions 

  1. Cut up your Granny Smith apples into cubes and add them to a blender with the lemon juice and simple syrup.
  2. Blend everything until you achieve a juice consistency, then strain through a fine strainer or a cheese cloth.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, add all of your cocktail ingredients and shake for about 15 seconds.
  4. Add in some ice and shake again for another 15 seconds.
  5. Double-strain your cocktail into your coupe glasses.
  6. Garnish them with matcha dust and thinly sliced Granny Smith apples.
  7. Serve.
  8. ENJOY!
