Looking for something festive for St. Patrick’s Day that will delight kids of all ages? These apple “cookies” take minutes to make and are an easy after-school snack or party appetizer. This is simple enough to have your little ones help in the kitchen! We used a shamrock cookie cutter and “leprechaun mix” sprinkles, but you could switch this up for other occasions as well. We were inspired by this Valentine’s Day version that Probably Polka Dots created with our Autumn Glory apples.
Ingredients:
- 2 large Granny Smith apples
- White chocolate chips
- Festive sprinkles
- ½ lime or lemon
- 1 cup water
- Festive cookie cutter
Directions:
- Squeeze lime or lemon juice into 1 cup water and stir.
- Microwave white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals. Mix in between until fully melted and drippy.
- Cut Granny Smith apples into ¼” thick slices. Immediately dip into the water mixture and pat dry.
- Cut out shamrock with a cookie cutter. Drizzle white chocolate over apple slices. Gently pour festive sprinkles over the cookies.
- Enjoy!
