Easy Toddler Recipes with Autumn Glory Apples

Check out these THREE simple ways to incorporate delicious and nutritious Autumn Glory apples into your toddler's snack time. These recipes will keep your kiddo full for hours by being packed with fiber and protein! Autumn Glory are used in all three of these recipes because they are often a favorite apple variety among young children due to their ample sweetness!

Cinnamon Apple Yogurt Bowls

Ingredients

  • 1 Autumn Glory Apple, peeled, cored, seeded and diced
  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons cereal or granola
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ¼ tablespoon butter
  • ½ tablespoon cinnamon

Directions

  1. In a small pan over medium heat, melt butter. Add diced apples and allow to lightly brown.
  2. Sprinkle cinnamon over apples, stir then turn off heat. Allow to sit in pan for a 5-10 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, add yogurt. Top with apples, almond butter, and cereal.

Apple Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 Autumn Glory apple, peeled, cored, seeded and diced
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vanilla Greek Yogurt

Directions

  1. Throw all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Pour into a cup.

Apple Star English Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 Autumn Glory Apple, peeled, cored, seeded and sliced
  • 1 English Muffin, sliced and toasted
  • 2-3 tablespoons almond butter*
  • 1 teaspoon hemp seeds
  • Honey, drizzled*

Directions

  1. Slice and toast the English muffin until lightly brown.
  2. While the muffin is heating up, cut Autumn Glory Apple and use star cutters to create small stars. Set aside.
  3. Once the English muffin is ready, pull it out carefully and spread almond butter.
  4. Place stars over almond butter. Sprinkle hemp seeds.
  5. Drizzle honey.
