Ingredients
- 12 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1½ - 2 Granny Smith apples, chopped small
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg,
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce (divided, more as desired)
- 1 cup toasted walnuts, crushed
You will also need crackers, pretzels, additional apple slices, and other serving items.
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and cheddar cheese
- Next, add in apples, nutmeg, and 1 tbsp of caramel sauce
- Using your hands, form the mixture into a ball and add it to a large platter (we used some plastic wrap to smooth out and shape more once on a platter)
- After the cheese ball is well shaped, press crushed walnut pieces onto the sides and top of the cheese ball
- Once the outside of the cheese ball is fully coated, drizzle with another 1 tbsp caramel sauce (more as desired)
- Add crackers, pretzels, apple slices, and more around the cheese ball, then serve!
