Pear, brie, and prosciutto sandwich on toasted sourdough with fig jam, honey, and arugula. The perfect sweet and savory comfort food.
Ingredients
- 2 Bartlett pears
- Prosciutto
- Fig jam
- Brie cheese
- Arugula
- Sourdough bread
- Honey
Directions
- In a medium pan, fry the prosciutto until slightly crisp. We recommend three slices per sandwich.
- In the same pan, add a little butter and toast the sourdough bread for about 1 minute per side.
- Spread fig jam on one slice of bread, and place brie slices on the other.
- Return the brie-topped bread to the pan, cheese side down, and cook until the cheese has melted and formed a golden, crispy layer.
- Remove the cheese-sliced bread from the pan and begin assembling: layer pear slices over the brie, followed by prosciutto, arugula, and a drizzle of honey.
- Close the sandwich and return it to the pan over low heat. Toast for about 1 minute per side until warmed through and crisp.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
