- 7-ounce bag of romaine or butter lettuce
- 2 cups cold grilled chicken, cubed
- 1 large Cosmic Crisp apple, cored and thinly sliced
- ½ cup cooked thick-cut bacon, crumbled
- ½ cup aged white cheddar cut into ¼-inch cubes
- ½ cup candied pecans or walnuts, chopped
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
Creamy BBQ Dressing (makes 1 cup)
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup BBQ sauce, plus more to taste
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1-2 teaspoons dry ranch dressing seasoning (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Whisk all of the dressing ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl until smooth. Add more BBQ sauce if desired.
- Season well with salt and black pepper to taste. Transfer to an airtight jar or bottle. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Place all salad ingredients into a large salad bowl.
- Drizzle with dressing and toss.
- Divide between individual plates. Serve with extra dressing on the side, if desired.
