Autumn Glory Apple Veggie Burger

Yield: 8-10 burgers

Skill level: Easy

You don't need to be vegetarian to enjoy a delicious veggie burger! This recipe has shredded Autumn Glory mixed in with black beans, quinoa, and carrots for a hearty and satisfying plant-based meal!



  • 1 15.5oz can no sodium black beans, rinsed and drained
  • ½ cup cooked quinoa
  • 2 tablespoons flax
  • ½ cup grated Autumn Glory® apples
  • ½ cup grated carrots
  • 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce (vegan worchestershire sauce may be substituted)
  • 2 tablespoon ketchup
  • ½ tablespoon Montreal Steak seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoon carrot juice
  • 1 cup oats

Toppings (optional)

  • Buns of choice
  • Additional Autumn Glory apple slices
  • Purple cabbage
  • chips


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Place all burger ingredients in food processor and pulse for approximately 2 minutes.
  3. Form mixture into burgers and place on flat, parchment lined baking sheet or in individual remekins.
  4. Bake for about 30 minutes.
  5. Place on bun and top with apple slices, purple cabbage, and even some crunchy chips!
