Ingredients:
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons fresh sage leaves
- 1 diced Autumn Glory® apple plus extra for garnish
- 1 ginger beer
- 4 ounces bourbon
- crushed ice
Directions:
- Make simple syrup by combining water, honey, sage leaves, and apple in a pot, then bringing it to a boil. Turn off the heat and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Strain and chill completely.
- Make a cocktail by combining 2 oz. Simple Syrup into a cocktail shaker with bourbon and ice.
- Fill two cocktail glasses with crushed ice, and then pour the apple sage and bourbon mixture over the top.
- Top off with ginger beer and garnish with fresh sage and apples. Serve immediately.
