Superfresh Growers and Norris Farms Partner on Blueberries

Superfresh Growers® and Norris Farms® have joined forces to deliver customers around the world a premium organic and conventional blueberry program. Superfresh Growers will exclusively sell Norris Farms berries starting with the 2019 season, which is slated to start the first of June.

“Our collective farming, sales, and logistical expertise, combined with mutual multi-generational farming knowledge, make our families a great match,” explains Robert Kershaw, CEO of Superfresh Growers.

Paul Norris, owner of Norris Farms, adds, “Our family is excited to work with the Superfresh Growers family. It has been apparent from the day we met that our companies share cultures that are centered around quality, service and strong customer relationships.”

Norris Farms grows blueberries in Southern Oregon’s Umpqua River valley where harvest begins in early to mid-June and extends to late September. The Umpqua River valley is known for its warm sunny days and evenings cooled by coastal breezes which makes it an ideal climate for quality blueberry production. This results in low summer humidity which reduces the risk of condition and quality problems, and extends the harvest season.

Superfresh Growers and Norris Farms look forward to adding blueberries to Superfresh Growers’ world renown apples, pears, cherries, and apricots.

Norris Farms, a family-owned business based in Roseburg, Oregon is recognized world-wide for their quality blueberries. Superfresh Growers, a fifth-generation family-owned business based in Yakima, Washington, is a vertically integrated agricultural organization specializing in farming, warehousing, sales, marketing, and logistical services. They will now offer a broad manifest of conventional and organic apples, pears, cherries, apricots and blueberries.
