Empowering and investing in our employees is a huge part of the Superfresh culture. We believe this promotes self-confidence and adds value to the whole company. Superfresh Growers is proud to have been invited to join Produce Marketing Association’s (PMA) Center for Growing Talent (CGT) Women’s Fresh Perspectives (WFP) Advisory Committee. The WFP program objective is to “cultivate women’s potential through the leadership, education, motivational speakers, and opportunities to network with other industry leaders and newcomers.”
Superfresh Growers Catherine Gipe-Stewart, Communications Manager, will be representing the company on the Advisory Committee. “I’m honored to join PMA’s Women Fresh Perspectives Advisory Committee. I continue to be inspired by their leadership for diversity and inclusion within the industry. As a representative of the industry, but also of Superfresh Growers, it is truly empowering to see women lead and guide Superfresh Growers in the direction we are going. Being part of a culture that values self-improvement, and sees leadership beyond gender is inspiring and exciting to be a daily part of what we do here.,” describes Catherine Gipe-Stewart, Communications Manager.
Superfresh Growers is proud to have women in leadership roles spanning the spectrum of the company, from growing to packing, accounting to food safety, sales and marketing to logistics, and corporate affairs to human resources. Superfresh Growers is grateful for this opportunity and excited to be a part of the produce industry’s leadership in creating a more diverse and inclusion industry.
