Superfresh Growers is in the heart of cherry season, with ideal weather delivering outstanding fruit size and flavor across our orchards. With warm days, cool nights, and just the right amount of sunshine, this year's crop is thriving.
Harvest crews are picking at peak ripeness, prioritizing sugar content and rich color. Cherries are carefully hand-picked in clusters with stems intact, then placed into bins and immediately cooled in refrigerated trucks to maintain freshness on their way to the packing house.
Upon arrival, the cherries go through hydro-cooling to rapidly bring down their internal temperature. From there, they move through our advanced packing line, where each cherry is gently separated and analyzed by AI-powered sorters that detect defects and sort by size to meet customer preferences.
Only the highest quality cherries make it into final packaging - picked, packed, and delivered with the consumer in mind.
